@brainsmatter That sounds amazing. I'm a big fan of things like project based learning because it provides an alternative for assessment.
@AlliFlowers It also provided some 'real life' type of experience (scenarios I set up were similar to what they'd expect in industry)
@AlliFlowers When I used to lecture, i still had exams, but I had a major assessment which was a presentation, which included me questioning them on what they'd presented orally, I found that worked well.
