Just two more weeks to go. Then this criminal trial on Manhattan will go to jury. It will be fast decision, on the 34 felony counts, the jury will find Trump is "guilty as charged" and The Orange Turd goes from being 'Defendant Trump' to being 'Convict Trump'

@AlliFlowers @tomiahonen if and when he is finally jailed, and I hope he is jailed while waiting on appeal, and no damn house arrest nonsense, it will finally make it clear that a guy who has done so many casual crimes can not run for or serve as president. Then I expect other judges will finally get their act together and get moving on his other trials. They are cowards right now, worried about their careers, but cowards will dogpile on a known loser.

@Urban_Hermit @AlliFlowers @tomiahonen That is why I'd like to see Merchan give him deferred sentences on his contempt of court. He would soon build up enough to get him held until the appeal is done.
Having said that. He has three other criminal cases where he was released on the condition of not committing a crime. Contempt of court is a crime. His release could be revoked in all of them...although it would be doubtful to happen with his FL owned and operated Cannon.

@AlliFlowers @Ralph058 @tomiahonen she actually had a reputation as a serious student, but this "both of you should make up sets of jury instructions assuming that I ruled either way" is just not serious. This is not a student exercise, this is the most serious crime ever committed by a president, except possibly other clumsy but more serious crimes committed by this same president!

@Urban_Hermit @AlliFlowers @Ralph058 I do want her to be impeached (federal judges are lifetime appointments and cannot be fired even by their superiors, only the Senate can remove them by impeachment)
@AlliFlowers @Ralph058 @tomiahonen it has to be a blatantly obvious embarrassment to the other judges in her district. A former President stole classified documents, possibly to sell them through the Saudis to the Russians. She needs to own that weight around her neck if she keeps treating the criminal with deference, and other judges need to distance themselves from her.
And someone should make her membership of conservative organizations a disqualification. Shameful for a judge.
