Yep, and look at this conspiracy theory that they're spreading as well. Look at the map of the gas fields on the left and then convince me that Israel is going to bother trying to drill wells and guard rigs in the Gaza territorial waters when they've got so much going on throughout their less disputed ones.

I'm in no way condoning methane extraction, but I think by tying together fossil fuels with Israel helps the political technologists rage farm from the left side of the aisle.

Now, I'm not really going to dig into the methane issue enough to definitively determine if its a conspiracy theory constructed from hole-cloth (sp?) or if it has a grain of truth like most of them, but I am confident that very few of the accounts pushing the story have much knowledge of international maritime law and how it relates to the sea in that tumultuous area of the globe.

It looks like there's been quite a bit of action around the issue and I do not trust Netanyahu. idk
