When Obama was running for President, there were a bunch of white evangelical preachers in the US South claiming that:
Obama was not Christian, but in fact a secret Muslim
Obama wanted to ban Christianity when he became President
My mother would tell her friends that these were ridiculous claims, but they'd turn to her and say, "Well, it's on the church website" as if that settled the matter.
Just in case you're curious about how ready the American electorate is to swallow absolute garbage during an election--garbage that can be disproven in about 5 seconds of Googling.
(Not that there's anything wrong with being Muslim, but Obama wanting to usher in 'Sharia law' was the immigrant caravan or CRT of its day in terms of manufactured crises.)
