I blame society for adding “Jesus Christ” to my swear bucket. Just like YOLO, it started ironically…

@AlliFlowers I started saying it to annoy Christian friends in the past, but now I can’t stop

@sickmatter Hell, I picked it up from Christian friends. They don’t really care. All my life, writing g-d so that I wouldn’t blaspheme. Oi.

@sickmatter I figured the meaning was the same. Then again, I also say hashem instead of a name. And I still do that even though I’ve pretty much lost all my faith.

@AlliFlowers I only respect the logical halacha so yeah but don’t tell anyone 🤫

@sickmatter Meanwhile, my 40 year old son announced last night that he’s considering aliya.

@AlliFlowers maybe I’ll consider that when I’m 40 as well. I’m already wondering about citizenship at least in case things fall apart here

@sickmatter Why wait? Mind you, half our family came from Israel to live in California. I guess now it’s the other half’s turn. The ones in CA used to go back to visit every year, but now they have nowhere to return to cause they came from Nir Oz.

@AlliFlowers you’re asking the same guy who hasn’t fixed the flat tire on his car for two weeks 😫
