@AlliFlowers @98Percent -- But you seem to be defending and encouraging the funding stop, and not mentioning how it is effecting innocent people, and how no alternatives have been proposed or created to prevent the impact to innocent people.
No one seems to be in a position to continue funding to the UNRWA and no one seems to be in a position to be able to ensure 100% of all aid goes to innocent people, but there are A LOT of people that have the power to set up the alternative and NOTHING.

The UNRWA exists *only* to handle the Palestinians, and is both incompetent and complicit of terrorism.

It's not a "full cut". Speaking of Germany: The UNRWA budget allocated for 2023 isn't touched, and currently there are no budget talks. Germany actually increased spending to ICRC and UNICEF just a few days earlier.
