*2 week buffer required at least, as DIY cutting your hair with clippers means (for me) I've got to cut my hair a bit shorter than I'd like, then let it grow out a bit. "Why don't you pay for a haircut?" Because 1. I'm cheap 2. Who, exactly, am I trying to impress 3. I'm cheap 4. I can't cut my hair worse than some expensive haircuts I have received, LOL. (Note: "Oh my... if my supervisor can't fix that haircut, you guys don't have to pay for the haircut" was stated no less the 4 times between my elementary school youth and college).
Ah, that worked out nicely. Basically this cut... #8 Wahl on top, #2 on the sides.
@ai6yr I just use a #2 everywhere for myself. Hubby gets a 3 or 4 with a lot of scissoring. I’ve been doing his since the pandemic since he can’t figure out how to do it himself. <cough>
