Anyhow, do you speak any ASL? I decided in my next career incarnation I wanted to be an ASL interpreter, and have been working hard at it for a while. @adhdeanasl

@AlliFlowers I’ve been an ASL user for 34 years, interpreting for 33. It’s been one of the greatest things in my life, and I’m deeply indebted to the Deaf community for both my vocation and the friends I have.

@AlliFlowers No, I learned while in college when I met a group of Deaf students. I *do* now use hearing aids, but I still consider myself hearing or mildly hard of hearing.
