What about loved for being humans, but limited attention and resources require focusing the practical manifestations of that pre-existing universal care and concern on those who are hurting most in a moment of history?

I'm asking for an openness to other cultures which I think is a stronger substrate of support than merely being against Nazis which is only useful for identifying the more virulent of Jew haters. The use of the words love and hate are more about poetic license
