Crickets are really tasty! Also, this question is offensive to a lot of folks because it "others" their traditional foods. Cheese is the most disgusting food for folks from a lot of backgrounds.
The most surprisingly delicious food was camel meat and stinky tofu! Frog porridge was so-so for me but it's a national dish in #Singapore.

I think a lot of people like the flavour, as did I. The smell, like durian, is an acquired taste for most westerners.
@EllenInEdmonton @AlliFlowers @RickiTarr My Mom evacuated an entire city bus without meaning to. When she took us to Vancouver to get a giant durian for ceremonies & we had to take city buses there & back. They put up a sign saying no durians allowed on city buses after that.
@AlliFlowers @EllenInEdmonton @RickiTarr It was pretty funny to witness. First stop - 5 ppl jumped off, with no words. Same with next 4 stops. By this time, me & my brothers noticed everyone had moved away from us to front of bus. We didn't actually know why at the time.
We get to stop 8 & a man said - I wanted to go downtown but that weird fruity smell is too much! I then realized Mom evacuated bus by durian stinky powers. I don't think she wanted to be that kinda superhero.
