@johnettesnuggs I know you can’t see it, but I’m applauding your thread.
@johnettesnuggs I was always super lucky with my admins. I only retired due to Covid.
@AlliFlowers the first two I had were not bad, but after that, conservative ex-coaches across the board.🙄
@johnettesnuggs It does seem a large number of coaches go into administration. Most of them shouldn’t.
@AlliFlowers Especially in the South. I know for a fact the coaches in our district had a “notebook” of the coursework for the administrator degree at one of the nearby colleges one of their wives had done. It was paseed around to every single coach and in a 5-6 year interval, they all had their degrees. It’s still being passed around to the new coaches. That used to p!ss me off to no end. Still does.
@johnettesnuggs Same is true here. Fortunately, that’s where they end. One of our coaches (at my final school) decided he was going to get a doctorate. Oh, the stories I can tell about that would make you laugh and groan for days. I’ll leave it with his saying he could never get through quan or qual, so maybe instead of a Ph.D. he should get an Ed.D. 🙄
@AlliFlowers that’s on brand.
@AlliFlowers I’m an English teacher…and these admin are ex-coaches….so every stinking chapter got the same treatment. Then, i resigned at the end of the year.
