@makkhorn hi. I'm a former NYer with a love/hate relationship with the Times. Mostly hate these days thanks to their both sides-ism re trdumpo. So I don't subscribe. But they were gifting this one and it was bleak enough to match my mood. I think it should be gifted for all but you know how rapidly things can change
@ckaras my dad was into bricks and mortar ! The back breaking kind. My daughter is half Ukrainian! Small world.
@makkhorn my brother was a bricklayer. I was very proud of his work. Both my babba and geta were Ukrainian. I was very close to my babba. I had a second family, cousins, all Ukrainian. I am heartbroken over this war 🥺
