Everyone could find some form of public service that they could perform. I'd like for us to have a draft system where young Americans could choose military, public health, social work, citizens conservation corps, etc. just so that more people became vested in our country and its potential for positive progress.

It seems like one of those proposals that would be difficult for the first politician or few that tried to campaign on it and it certainly shouldn't start with someone running for POTUS because it would become major political liability in how it could be weaponized against them.
