At their insistence, I have bought my children worn and ripped jeans that are made worn and ripped by poor people in clothing factories wearing worn and ripped clothing. It’s poverty Chic and the most perverse type of indulgence. Folk who pay to look like they aren’t privileged. You won’t catch me wearing that shit.
