Diabolical liberty: after-school Satanists club threatens to sue district over ban | Texas | The Guardian
Religious freedom is only for some religions. https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2023/mar/08/pennsylvania-after-school-satan-club
@Lunatech It’s already happening. For instance, in Judaism, it’s the mother’s life that takes precedence and life does not begin until the first breath. There are already several lawsuits based on that.
But we all know, it’s only fundamental Christianity that counts, and the SCOTUS has turned its back on freedom of religion.
@AlliFlowers I KNEW this would happen sooner or later. What I want to know is what happens if some #religion declares #abortion to be one of their sacred rites. Will the #courts decide that freedom of religion doesn't apply? What if they are in a state where simply providing assistance in getting an abortion in a legal manner (by going to a state where it's allowed) is illegal, but they include information on how to get one in their "holy" texts? Will the courts discriminate on which religions get to have rights and which don't?
