I absolutely love the ‘Send Later’ feature in Outlook and email in general. I can create emails in the dead of night and schedule it’s delivery. Rather effective, especially working for a Global company…
@circatee What difference does it make when you send it? If someone is asleep he won’t read it until he wakes up whether you sent it 15 minutes or 5 hours previously.
@AlliFlowers I think it’s more about not making the receiver feel a response is needed as soon as they see it. Example, it’s 14:00 in Atlanta and I send a work email to Europe, and it’s 20:00 there. If they read their email they may feel a response is required. Just another way of ‘helping your colleagues’ to have a work/life balance… 👍
