Yesterday was Daintree Rainforest tour day. It was a very long day, filled with excellent experiences. First stop, Mosman Gorge.

This was followed by a delicious morning tea. Great coffee and damper scones. Sorry, no pics.

After that, time to take a tour on the Daintree River and spot some crocs. Sadly, it was high tide and nesting season. This means, not many about. Managed to see three baby crocs though. It’s rare to see one. At this age (9 months) they make a light snack for most predators, including larger crocs. Seeing three was a rare treat says the guide.

There was also frogs and snakes to be seen. Good luck seeing the snake in this pic.

After that, a lookout. This spider was as large as my hand. Hand not shown for scale because NOPE.

Lunch was then had. Tasty steak and salad. Cool drinks. No pics sadly.

A closer look at the stinger warning sign because it’s pretty unique to this part of the world. It also has googley eyes.
