@glightly@mastodon.social unfortunately $ rules and the hesitance to tackle this issue for 40 years is because it cost too much for our economic system to handle says the wealthy. How much is it costing us now? And I wonder if the wealthy took the last 40 years to store up enough nuts to weather it versus average people who will take the brunt of it? 🤔
