It feels like there is a massive push to convince me to watch the Barbie movie. Every news site or cable news program I see is pushing this movie.

@Litzz11 It depends. #Barbie. I definitely won’t see it in the theater, but will likely stream it if the reviews are worthy. A movie like this can be stupid or have an intriguing plot/angle. That remains to be seen.
Why did we care about the anthropomorphized toys in Toy Story? It becomes a pseudo- human interest story we found we can relate to. 🙂 A link online speculates a possibility: “Barbie suffers a crisis that leads her to question her world and her existence.”
