There's just so much news coming in about the #J6 investigation it's overwhelming. The Miami indictment was just a shot across the bow of the Trumptanic.
You can tell by the gist of his over thirty deranged social media posts today that he's rapidly approaching the stage of accepting that he's painted himself into a corner he can't get out of.
The big question I have is how many more of the top-level co-conspirators are going down with him.
@GreenFire #CorruptTrump I feel like there is more than even odds that based on the political climate and an abundance of Orange Koolaid gulpers (ending up on his jury) he could avoid justice. Regarding 2024, I don’t think he has the National pull, although I worry about cheating at the State level by “win at all costs” #TrumpPatriots. 😳
@GreenFire perhaps you misunderstand my meaning. Avoiding Justice is when a juror votes in opposition to the evidence to support their politics. Not beyond the pale at all imo. And it would support my contention that Justice was not served, and not the first time in our history,
@GreenFire Just observing the political climate in the USA and anticipating outcomes of any trial involving #TheHeadLiar which I am pessimistic about the outcome. Although I do support the concept of jury, I also see the problem with juries, it really should be described as a “people” problem of which the judge is included. Where does that leave us? 🫤😉
@Huntn00
It leaves us with an imperfect system that has managed to produce the world's oldest democracy so that's something to be positive about, idk.
@GreenFire just keep in mind that USA Democracy for the last decade+ is/has been under serious attack on multiple fronts. When I lived in Minnesota mail in balloting was a no brainer, a modern convenience. Yet in Texas it is so inconvenient it is impossible to utilize. That is all based on the BS GOP lies about voter fraud in a National campaign to keep the demographics who don’t support them from using it. Ironically GOP voters like the connivence too! 🤔
@Huntn00
No, I got your meaning and yes that will be a case of justice not being served, but that's just the system of "justice" that we have so I just don't think that it helps much to worry about stuff we don't have an ability to impact.
I've not seen much of a movement to do away with juries in the USA and I'm not certain what those proposals might look like?
