Power corrupts universally. So the Mormon Church is corrupt, and here I thought the Mormon’s were supposed to be a step above, while acknowledging that the creation of the Mormon Church involved some hard core tall tales, and in some historically incidents, non-believers in Utah were treated harshly, so I guess it’s not that much of a shocker that they’d be running tax scams.
@Huntn00 @flexghost Fun fact: American intelligence services recruit heavily among Mormons because they are seen to have fewer issues with addiction, are patriotic and have strong family ties.

With the caveat that this is accurate reporting- Do average Mormons know about the $100B slush fund and associated tax scam, I wonder? And is it ok because obviously it’s for a good cause, “our power”

@Huntn00 @flexghost Great questions. Next time I see my Mormon relatives I will ask. There's a graduation party in June, so I will have a chance. They are SUPER Mo's and are always telling me how wonderful their church is and all the great things it does. I will have to find a non-aggressive way to ask.
