My mum reports her friend talking to her daughter (going through a divorce) via Facetime and the conversation getting quite intense; and then they got a message about the language being used and the call was abruptly and forcibly aborted.

I haven't used any Apple hardware or services since the late 1990's, so I doubt they care what I think, but I shall certainly never use any Apple services henceforth.

Things are in a dark place when a mother and daughter cannot have a private conversation.

@drgeraint Are you sure it wasn't just connection issues? Cause if someone were censoring facetime calls, my mother and I would never be allowed to speak.

@AlliFlowers Connection issues wouldn't cause a message warning about the language being used.

@AlliFlowers If it makes any difference, the call was between UK and Australia. I don't know if the censorship differs from one country to another.

@drgeraint Do you know of any other instance of this happening in either of those countries?

@AlliFlowers No. I have never used Facetime and have nothing to do with the Apple eco-system. As I said, I learned this from my mum after her friend experienced this.
