Just once I want someone to set a story in Oxford that isn’t about the elite university but instead covers the clubs, the artists, the car plants, the immigrant cafes, the actual living, breathing city.
@ben You mean like Inspector Lewis? Morse?
@AlliFlowers I actually haven't seen Lewis, but Morse was still firmly set in the university side of the city. If Lewis breaks from that I should go back and watch it.
@AlliFlowers @ben an enjoyable part of watching Morse for me was catching the occasional travel shots between more important scenes. It was good fun to pause the show and try to recognise random areas of Oxford in the 1990s.
