@dukepaaron The south has always had fried pickles. I imagine it always will. I discovered after moving here back in the early 90s that southerners will deep fry anything. Candy bars? Check. Meat? Check. Cookies? Check. Fish? Duh, of course. They will even fry Kool-aid and butter.
@dukepaaron Down here you don't have to go out of your way to find them. They're everywhere.
@AlliFlowers the regional food Seattle is known for (excepting in-sourcing other countries foods) is putting cream cheese on a hotdog.
Which i have, for so many reasons, never tried.
This is geoduck erasure
@raf haha. I thought about that, but I'm sticking to my guns. Geoducks are more the heroine-riddled coastline towns.
@raf Should I even ask?@dukepaaron
@AlliFlowers giant clams that look like mutant penises from outerspace native to the pacific northwest coast.
@dukepaaron Gonna have to put some thought into that. @raf
Look for documentaries on YouTube. They are an interesting creature
@raf Will do!
Speaking of interesting creatures, did you see my photo from this morning? @dukepaaron
@dukepaaron You couldn't make me.
@AlliFlowers i had deep fried pickles for the first time in Texas. I eat them when I'm around them but don't go out of my way to find them.
