I've said it before here and will keep saying it...we supposedly have a representative government, yet women in Congress comprise only 23%...and that's a record high!
The more women we get into congress, the better and more responsive it will become, and shit will get done. I believe women comprise 51% of the national population. That's what we should have in Congress.

But the topic Wiley introduced is the importance of getting more women into Congress because they make things better & get things done, & my response is that we need more women in Congress with integrity, empathy, intelligence, & the skills & desire to do good things for the benefit of their constituents & our country — more AOCs, not MTGs. The same also goes, of course, for *all* who serve in our government, ideally!
@AlliFlowers @Wileymiller @GottaLaff Was going to say something similar. Unfortunately, not all women in Congress are there to make it better or to get things done for the American people. They’re there to sow chaos, throw sand in the gears, and burn it down.
