When using Microsoft Word or Google Docs, don't just make text bigger and bolder to make it a heading. That will work for sighted users, but screen reader users will miss that and just hear it as normal paragraph text. Use actual heading styles, like level 1 through 6.

@AlliFlowers @A11yAwareness Indeed. I once had to do a very long report. So did another principal. We were both told that we had to make some changes at the beginning of a meeting. I made my changes and refreshed my Table of Contents. She just started and said “What did you just do?” Then went in to explain how she had spent most is Saturday creating her TOC. My quickest convert to headings
