Pres #Biden announced more than $6 billion in federal funds to strengthen climate resilience efforts across the nation Tuesday, including a broad range of initiatives aimed at boosting infrastructure to withstand the impacts of #ClimateCrisis.
The investment aims to protect more than 21 million acres of public lands and waterways by reducing environmental pollution, which aligns with Biden's target goal of cutting carbon emissions in half by 2030, the White House said.

@GottaLaff Biden's plan is the kind of positive and needed action that low information folks don't notice because it stops something from happening, rather than fix something bad that already happened. That's probably why the conservatives like to let bad stuff happen, so they can cynically 'fix' it. 😠
@timo21 @GottaLaff Republicans don't 'let' bat things happen. They cause them. Then blame the Dems.
Don't believe me? Tax cuts for the wealthy.
@susankayequinn Now there’s an understatement, if ever there was one. @MasterMischief @timo21 @GottaLaff
