The next time you see high gas prices, remember that Exxon posted $9.1 billion in earnings for the third quarter of this year. The money is coming out of consumers’ pockets and going back to Exxon’s wealthy shareholders, to which it gave $8.1 billion in Q3.

@AlliFlowers my daughter had another son, 22 years after the first. We had him with us, traveling the Cabot Trail, and he flew down to meet his brother, but we can't fly, my wife has spinal damage and can't take turbulence, so we drive (usually) but now that the grandson was grown, we weren't planning any more trips. And to throw a wrench into it, my son has a baby due here, before we leave
@Rasta It’s why we have children. So we can spend their formative years embarrassing them, and they can spend our golden years making us run around.
@AlliFlowers my daughter moved to the USA, we see her least of all, as we age and have more restrictions, it would be easier, and cheaper to fly her here yearly
