I sincerely hope they mean they are supporting Israel, since the only organization whose “mission statement” is Jewish genocide is Hamas. Or has BLM Chicago somehow missed that little detail? Jews in the US have overwhelmingly stood by BLM. And now BLM is going to ignore this support?

@AlliFlowers

This is the sort of issue that I usually try to investigate thoroughly. But this time, I don't know if I have the heart, or the stomach.

It seems that, yesterday, BLM Chicago tweeted a graphic that celebrated and glorified Hamas' terrorist massacre. And that BLM Grassroots also defended the massacre.

And that the BLM Global Network Foundation pointed out that it is not affiliated with BLM Chicago or BLM Grassroots. And they had no other comment.

@barney Maybe time to get their messaging straight. Yea, their first tweet was abhorrent.

@AlliFlowers

From the limited research that I'm able to handle doing at this point, I gather that BLM Chicago meant exactly what they said in their abhorrent, now-deleted tweet. But also that BLM is a large and decentralized movement, and we absolutely cannot infer that the movement as a whole endorses murdering Jews.

It's also very clear now that we in the US live among far more people than we realized who think that burning Jewish children to death is a good and virtuous thing to do.
