@johnettesnuggs How adorable!
@johnettesnuggs We keep pulling them out of the pool. The chemicals are bad for them.
@AlliFlowers our pool is pretty steady. My pool guy said we could keep fish in it as long as we keep it balanced. At this time of year I’m the only one still swimming, and I’m just putting a couple of chlorine tabs in every 2 weeks and some algaecide. I got them aimed to the pond/waterfall hubs built a few years ago. We can’t keep fish (thanks raccoons) but we have a lot of frogs. I’m pretty sure these are babies of the frogs from the pond.
@johnettesnuggs I’ll have to ask our pool guy when he comes tomorrow. We probably have another good month or more to swim.
@AlliFlowers do you use EZPool? That’s what we started using 20 something years ago. We just this year replaced our original liner. The pool guy was amazed it lasted so long. Our kids are both grown, and hubs is afraid of skin cancer, so I’m just swimming by myself and waiting for grandkids…🤣
@johnettesnuggs Never heard of it. When we moved in here a year and a half ago, I just hired someone to balance the chemicals and clean it weekly. We had to replace the liner almost immediately. The pool was in bad shape.
@AlliFlowers it’s expensive, but it works pretty well for us. We do all the balancing and whatnot at the beginning of the summer, as long as we keep it balanced, it’s fine.
@johnettesnuggs Ours is balanced every week. They send us a statement showing how much of what they put in.
@AlliFlowers I hope they live. They are so tiny!! I helped them find their way to the frog log so they wouldn’t drown. But I didn’t want to mess with them too much. They seemed a little traumatized🥴
