Tuna curry for dinner tonight, one of the few things I'd eat as a child. What a strange child I must've been.

@KayJanes We had curry a lot when I was little. Of course, it’s the national dish of England.

@AlliFlowers I think that bottle of curry powder in Mom's cupboard was only brought out for that one recipe. And now I'm wondering how many spices she regularly used ...
So many times, because we watch a lot of British tv, I get jealous of all those curry shops.

@KayJanes Having grown in up in so many different places, I use certain spices a lot. I have to keep a large container of curry, and an institutional sized bottle of soy sauce.

@AlliFlowers Thank goodness for those jumbo sizes for frequent spicing.

@KayJanes You ain’t kidding! My other addiction is easier: basil. I just grow it.

@AlliFlowers I have such a brown thumb I depend greatly on Costco's big bottle of pesto.

@KayJanes Basil is easy! It practically grows itself. And the more you cut/use, the more it grows.

@AlliFlowers Not for me. I used to buy a plant every spring and then a second ... And then after several years of disappointment, I threw in the trowel. 😣
