Spotify again justifies its existence: There was this song that I had heard, and really liked, and couldn't remember the name of it or the artist.
And here it is: Ready to Let Go by Cage The Elephant.
So, so good. So, so happy it appeared in my Spotify tonight.
Never had control... I'm ready... I'm ready... I'm ready to let go.....
@psetnik I heard an instrumental song in 1963 that I never knew the name for, or heard again. In 2018 I found it. It was by a pianist known as "Bent Fabric", Alley Cat
@AlliFlowers @psetnik lol. I used to get drunks doing that in my ear to request their favorite song they didn't know the name or artist of (DeeJay). This was not heard again to ask. Zero reference points. Found by accident. There was no one to hum it to 😎

@AlliFlowers I had my music, my business music, and music that haunted my memories. I knew 1914 Wartime Ditties, and sang K-K-K-Katie, when I was a child 😎 weird diversity
@Rasta Damn…I sing K-k-k-Katie almost every day, although I change the words a bit. We have a pool robot that skims the surface, and it’s branded Betta, so we call it Betty. Which makes me sing B-b-b-Betty, b-b-b-beautiful Betty! You’re the only one that I’d let clean my pool! …and so on.
@AlliFlowers I grew up in the military family too, with influences of other countries, my music was all over the place, different languages too
@Rasta Best way to grow up. And best way to enjoy music!
@AlliFlowers when I started DJing, I refused to play Country. I'd pass work off to another DJ rather than spend a night with George Jones. Well, turns out, money is a motivator, my largest business collection is country now.
