Stage Manager in iPadOS 17 gives you a better visual indication of which window is live. I don’t know if it has been in there since the first beta but I have noticed it now and although it’s small, it’s noticeable. I like it.

@AlliFlowers They still need to do some work but now that you can make the windows different sizes based on what you want versus what iPadOS wants and the small visual clues, it’s better. I think the visual cues could be bolder but once you see them, they’re pretty easy.
