They haven't said anything about where in the timeline it takes place, so maybe.
But I'm not sure why you sound so certain he's dead? We saw him collapse, and then cut to his grave, sure. But we didn't see him die. They left themselves an opening to say he faked his own death. Especially with the high powered friends he has.
I hope that's not the route they go, because I think the ending was very satisfying. But with Chapter 5, it seems they might.

Honestly, I hope that it's a prequel and maybe even without Keanu. I love Keanu, but I also love that JW 1-4 gave that character a definitive closed character arc.
@AlliFlowers I’m actually okay with it. I am glad the filmmakers and Keanu finished the story instead of letting it drag out.
There is a spin off film in the works. And Peacock will have a spin off TV series.
