Did you know that if the battery on your #Tesla dies, you can’t even open the doors? I have a friend whose Tesla has been sitting in his garage for the better part of a week.
@AlliFlowers Jumping the 12V is easy enough for an owner to do in their garage. Not quite as convenient as a mechanical lock backup, but still doable for the rare cases of sudden 12V failure.
@Lownewulf Even when the repair guy showed up, he couldn’t do it. You can’t jump what you can’t access.
@AlliFlowers there's an external access port to open the frunk. The video I linked walks through the entire process to get access.
