Columbus always manages to have really depressing winter weather. It’s going to be in the single-digits Friday; lower with wind chill. But odds are no or little snow, so it will just be painfully cold.

@AlliFlowers If it’s going to be cold, I want snow. Yes, it’s irrational and silly and snow gets to be a pain in the ass, but it’s not like it’s any better having four months of dead trees and grass with nothing to cover it up. This place is flat and generally overcast and makes the Portland winters of endless rain seem cheerful in comparison.

@Zeb_Larson I understand exactly what you mean. My parents lived in Worthington for a bunch of years and I did undergrad up in BG. My body has since acclimatized to south Alabama.

@AlliFlowers Oh yeah, you know exactly what I mean. We’re lucky at least that we’re in Grandview, there’s a lot of trees here. Winters in years past in Columbus were tough for me.
