@LaughingHermit @amydiehl I used to call him CFSG, but I have of late forgone the “Cheeto-Faced” part and mostly just refer to him as ShitGibbon. When I am feeling the need to be polite.

When is it okay to "first-name" or "untitle" VP Harris (i.e., call her Kamala)? See my & Dr. Leanne Dzubinski's new Fast Company article. If you are not calling her male opponents by their first name in a certain context, then don't first-name VP Harris in that context. fastcompany.com/91164193/call-

Weird people all over the world take exception to being compared to Republicans. Please start using “creepy” instead. It fits much better.

@guncelawits I refuse to be "White". Those people are evil. I may be blond-ish, blue-eyed, fair-skinned, and still I say to "White" people, FO.

@davmicrot perhaps we need the laws changed to eliminate the shell (company) game

Crazy how little discussion there is about fact that Republican nominee is publicly trading a basically empty company, whose only "product" is that it will be where he launders money he steals if he regains power, and it is trading at a market cap of $6 billion.

@Huntn00 Once again, the message needs to be about KAMALA HARRIS, about how good SHE is. She needs to run her own race, not let herself be defined by a festering turdsack.

@bacchus1234 My grandpa used to eat chicken bones. I think they call them something else now. They are like a naked butterfinger.

@bacchus1234 A nightmare is a thing that you *wake up from*. Right before the splat.

@georgetakei On one forum site, we have a sort of meme about paper towel tubes that involves Jerry Sandusky, in which one poster was using them as an analogy to visualize that the heinous acts were infeasible.

@augieray The downside to that is that “economic recovery” benefits the people with the most money and sometimes/often screws over the less well off among us. Numbers are a horrifically incomplete story.

@Lottie FTN. The Democrats are bad, yes. The Republicans are not "bad", that word does not even come close. The Republicans are "loathsome", "deprecable", "vile", "emetic", "malicious", "detestable" and, quite frankly, UNjust.

@Lottie Eighty years ago, Americans were encouraged, even paid, to kill fascists and nazis. Some got medals for their efforts.

How far we have fallen.

@JoshuaHolland Stats: it was the 291st shoot-em-up since newyears day (shoot-em-up defined as 4 or more people experiencing unexpected abrupt lead poisoning); over fifteen hundred people have stumbled into one of these gunfests, and over 300 did not make it home. There have been 9 more since that one. It was, meh, a typical July afternoon in the US. Not sure why it should be considered different from all the others.

@QasimRashid wish we had a faster and more comprehensive passenger rail network here in the states. Flying is fine for long distance but unnecessary for shorter trips.
