@Huntn00 Nah. Americans fear war on their own ground but not anywhere else …

@andreas_heitmann You should not generalize about Nations. There’s half, possibly a majority in the US who hate the current Administration. It feels to me that we are close to civil war or the dissolution of the US as the US.

@Huntn00 Of course, one should not generalize. But every time a country votes for a dictator, I hear the same. I even hear the same about the terror organization Hamas in Gaza. Or about Russia and the Russians, who are good at heart probably.

And every time I remind everybody that Germany and the Germans, in particular, were Nazis. Not all of them, but many enough.

The USA took the first steps into fascism and everybody in America should make up his or her mind about this! …

@andreas_heitmann @Huntn00 The biggest problem we have right now is proactive complacency. Most Americans are still getting by and are anxious about what resistance would cost them

Fear of what MAGAts are capable of also feeds the inertia, but for as long as most Americans can keep on keeping on, opposition will have limited traction and those in power will just keep digging out underneath, getting closer and closer to the surface. When it falls in, it may well be just too late.
