Unusual as well, are dry and drought conditions across the whole country.

The cadre of #firefighters across #Canada is down by 30k personal. Luckily, countries around the world are sending firefighters to help out.

2) My guess?

It’s a perfect storm of #climatechange, economic factors that lead volunteer firefighters needing to find paying work and some loss of the available pool of firefighters due to #covid deaths and #LongCovid.

What would help?

Pay firefighters what they are worth and find money for permanent firefighting jobs.

Elect public official who understand the science behind #climate change and who are willing to take immediate action to address it.

I don’t love that Apple screws people into paying more for stuff that you could upgrade aftermarket on every other laptop, but I could see this being a great choice.
