BREAKING: Putin blinks.

In deal brokered by Belarus president Lukashenko, Wagner chief Prigozhin agrees to turn back from Moscow and return to bases to avoid bloodshed — in exchange for Putin guaranteeing their security.

The coup is paused. For now. Putin is now vulnerable.

Different possibility though — that Putin and Prigozhin orchestrated the last 24 hours as theatre, to give Putin the pretense to completely reshuffle (and purge) Russia’s military leaders.

I wonder when Trump will take credit for stopping the coup.
