@davidaugust Unions are the primary opportunity to have some say in your professional life because of an organization the unites the workforce so it can exert the power it possesses, and actually cares about the worker as more than a cog in the big machine that makes the owners and upper management wealthy. A cog that in their view frequently, should have no expectations other than be happy the cog is rotating.

@jeridansky Will we see a world wide climate call to action and the herd moves? Will the Capitalists volunteer to take the hit?? Snzzzzzz. Make no mistake, I’m a hard core human pessimist about our chances. Maybe after a couple of climate shovels upside the head, we might stagger in the right direction if the wild fires and flooding don’t catch us first.
