Anyone who places a warning on social media that they can’t tolerate any disagreement in an exchange of ideas or they will block you, is better off self locked away onto their own little safe space. My reference is to an individual at writing.exchange who made a bold statement about his intolerance and then erased the statement and blocked me, when I questioned him politely. Sir, thanks for the favor! 🤡

@KeithDJohnson My observation is that Capitalism is a solid roadblock to make the needed changes in a timely fashion. We are more worried about $$ in our pockets, personal security, and there is just to damned many of us, survival is secondary. We are incapable of a socialist solution. It will require the deaths of a couple hundred million to even make a dent on the collective survival consciousness of the masses. 🤔

@hrheingold I understand the goals, but at 70 years old, I am a complete pessimist about humanities chances of navigating #TheGreatFilter. We’re too selfish, locked in our economies, unwilling to make needed sacrifices to survive this mess in good shape. Humanity slaughtering each other as usual.
Look at the USA, fossil fuel based, infrastructure crumbling, throwing $Bs upon $Bs overseas, staggering Debt, Capitalism eating itself. I think we have fucked ourselves. 🤔

@dbattistella Hate regarding imagined races, better described as ethnicity and tribal, imo has an economic basis, often what will this new group take from me?
And related, the unworthy idea of #WhitePrivilege where by virtue of my skin color I should get breaks, whether it be head of the line privileges, better jobs, better treatment under the law, and better opportunity, regardless if I am qualified or not, after all I’m White, related by race to those big wigs, better than U. 🤔

@ewdocparris There is virtue in being open minded, and considering other people’s opinions as valid or not valid.
I consider counter views, acknowledge if they have merit, disagree if they don’t, tell them so, and thank them for their input… that I disagree with. 😀
No offense, but being a virtual dictator is self limiting if the goal is to exchange ideas and opinions.
