Capitalism has one goal profits. Everything else is secondary. Millions of jobs exported, the middle class, decimated, domestic markets weakened, the environment harmed, democracy threatened all for $$$. I doubt it will survive automation, and AI.

Are they his suckers or could they be disgruntled anarchists delighted by the prospect of him tearing down the the system? The issue would be fascism, not anarchy as an end result. 🤔

It depends on how the term is defined. The “occupying force” good or bad, are those that seize the world and bend it to their will. The sheep let it happen because they are not similarly driven or not motivated. As the world burns more will get motivated and shake off sheep status. 🤔

I think we as a species are screwed. And I’m a pessimist who does not regard anarchy as some kind of magic billet that will save us, not regarding emissions and global warming.

People are people, many are sheep, some are inspired and under the system that exists make themselves wealthy and powerful. Why? Sheep. Most people seem to prefer private land ownership, something you can call your own. We are way beyond large communes. Even there, there is hierarchy and power.

Landowner or tycoon takes out a lease. If noone with $ appeared would there be a mine? Why don’t you tell me in such an area with minimal employment how people are coerced into taking a good paying job? What were their options before such a job became available? Btw , I’m not selling mining as a great job. 😁
