@davidtoddmccarty I’m a self labeled agnostic so up front I’ve admitted I don’t have a clue. 🥸 Philosophically, if there is no purpose, there is no point. As an example, if we all end up dead, not existing, oblivious to a life, billions of lives lived, who cares how many good or bad things we did in our lives? I’d also argue that the Universe just exists, what happened on a speck of dust is of zero consequence, without meaning. And that might just be the answer, but I hope for more. 🤔
@davidtoddmccarty Not nearly as elegant as you, I have spent much of my last 70 years, going though the motions of living, considering what it could all mean, portend. I believe it is a mistake to think that this journey is limited to a once in the infinite timeline, human lifetime, and I like the idea, practically insist that purpose has to be an element of this existence or that this all means nothing. It’s just a feeling. 🤔
@edgeoforever Falling into great wealth appears to attack one’s values in many cases. The condition of Gluttony easily expands beyond food consumption.

I’ve said frequently that #TheHeadLiar is just the symptom of the fever that rages among us. In a sane, incorruptible nation, this Lunatic would be no where near the levers of power. He’d be laughed at, scorned, or pitied, yet he is the GOP Front Runner? Ask yourself just how fucked up this is, think about your GOP friends’ motivations, resist and go vote for sanity.

U.S. #law schools should discourage students from applying for clerkships with #ClarenceThomas; faculty should refuse to recommend students for those clerkships; firms and other legal employers should refuse to hire people who have chosen to clerk for Thomas starting this year (when the large extent of his corruption became known).
