@GottaLaff I understand where you are coming from. This is semantics. When I use the term it is a condemning way, describing a pattern. It would certainly not be a word in this case to describe an acceptable standard. It’s a terrible standard/pattern that hopefully most people would not want, accept for the My Precious crowd, with lots of thoughts and prayers and all manner of excuses about why their liberty trumps dead children. 🤔

Not trying to sound morbid, just following a chain of logic. 🙂 Regarding free will,I believe based on our individual natures, and biological programming, we have little in the way of choice. Carrots or peas example. If you avoid what you don’t like, should this be called a choice? It’s more of a preference, not neutral free will.

Since non-existence is the norm, we should make the most of our few decades of existence. Because that's all we have.
