Take the average human who has a great idea and becomes or wins millions or a $B, their selfishness more cases than not, kicks in and the rationalizing starts about what’s best for me. With more $ than we can spend, some of us actually become philanthropists. I can’t even say if I ended up there I would do any better. We are definitely not like the ants or bees and this “intelligence” we acquired seems to work against us. 😞

@Radical_EgoCom @Huntn00 And that's why I support a cooperative economic system instead of a corporate one. Cooperatives are owned by the very people who would otherwise be exploited, so the incentive to do so evaporates. And with the one share per shareholder, nobody ends up exercising undue power over others or accumulating wealth excessively.

@Radical_EgoCom@kolektiva.social Capitalism might exist in a better state if not for the “humans” running the show. If elements like pay decent livable, even better than just livable wages, share the wealth, social safety nets, affordable health care, pensions so you don’t have to work till you drop, and big time caps on individual wealth plowed back to society it might work. However the problem is people, temptation, corruption and virtually any economic system you want to choose.

@jann @mikebrew @Jayslacks The problem with Thor was his aim, and timing. 😉 In End Game they had Thanos talking although I had no idea how it would have helped them if Thor had not been so quick at that point to cut his head off. Thor felt guilty for not going for the head. Peter Quill is the one who should feel guilty for losing it and causing Mantis to lose her mental grip on Thanos when it counted in IW. 😀

As I keep saying, liberals have to give up the idea that they are combatting Republicans. They are at war with Rupert and Lachlan Murdoch, and the plutocratic elite they want to protect and enlarge. When we start aiming at them, and not the noisy nonsense they generate, we’ll start winning.
