Good afternoon, from my corner of the world.
There is a planet in the photo, I'm not sure which one, I haven't bothered to check it out. But I was facing west when I look the image.
Switching subjects, I read yesterday that people in the United States were panic buying toilet paper because of the dock worker's strike. Which makes no sense to me because almost all of the toilet paper sold in the USA is made in the United States, Canada, and Mexico. If you don't know, and sadly some people don't, all three of these countries are in North America. These products are not greatly affected by the strike. Just saying.
I don't usually post about things like this, but I found the phenomenon to be interesting, and weird.

Two points:
1. I would suggest it's Venus, too, mainly because of the brightness.
2. You know, you have a lot of folks in the US with German roots (like Agent Orange but not as crazy 😜). During beginning of COVID-19 Pandemic for weeks toilett paper was sold out in Germany! 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ So might be some genetic heritage. 😜 I felt more like the French and Italian people, we odered 2 big boxes of red wine bottles! 😋😁
@Swede1952 @stiefel_fan Saturn can be fairly bright, but I doubt it would be bright enough to shine through the dusk like that. Venus is closer to the sun, so it is never a dot – Saturn can look like a dot or it can look like a small dash if the rings are in a prominent orientation.
